Sandro M. Shelia
Founder, General Director
Sandro Shelia is a Georgian-American international expert with over 25 years of experience in a variety of critical areas such as conformity assessment, education, international standards, leadership and organizational management, information technologies and finance.
Originally born in Georgia, Sandro Shelia resided in Washington, DC since 1996 and between 2004 and 2014 served as Senior Director of Accreditation Services with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). During his tenure, ANSI asserted its position as world leader in accreditation services, quadrupled its portfolio of various types of accredited conformity assessment bodies and introduced new services including accreditation for laboratories, inspection bodies, certificate programs, greenhouse gas validation and verification bodies.
Sandro holds Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Allegheny College (1998) as well as Executive Masters in Leadership from Georgetown University (2007). In 2014 Sandro Shelia moved back to Georgia where he continued his career by actively engaging in a variety of areas. He served as international expert and project manager for the Georgia Ministry of Education and Science as well as its LEPLs, the Nation Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) and Educational Management Information Service (EMIS). He also oversaw and served a senior software developer in an EU funded project aimed at developing the management information system for the Georgian Accreditation Center. Besides conformity assessment services, Mr. Shelia is also currently actively engaged in a variety of other for-profit areas including financial services, food industry and agriculture.
In 2015 together with his wife Sandro co-founded a non-profit charity foundation Bright Georgia whose mission is to provide assistance to Georgian children in hardship and to help talented children from all backgrounds to realize their potential and become educated, motivated, freely thinking, ethical and successful citizens of Georgian society. The foundation has sponsored a variety of successful charity concerts, funded arts and performance school attendance for low income children in Tbilisi as well as organized a 2 week long summer school for college applicants from low income families aimed at helping the participants prepare for the Georgian national entrance exams.

Mata Shvelidze
Deputy Director
Mata Shvelidze is a Deputy Director and Quality Manager with CA International. Between the years 2012-2015 Mata resided in the United Kingdom where she worked in the areas of sales and marketing for CAPITA - one of UK’s leading companies which provides business process management consultancy for some of the largest players in the market.
After returning to Georgia Mata Consulted for the Human Resource Department of the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement under the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Georgia.
Mata holds Master's Degree in Business from Birmingham University and Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics from the Black Sea University.

Otar Eliashvili
Technical Director
Otar Eliashvili joined CA International as Technical Director in March, 2017. He has 46 years of experience and counts among the foremost professionals in a variety of technical safety fields
Otari has been working in the area of technical supervision and inspection for over 30 years. He’s been working as an engineer for maintenance service of metallurgic and crane equipment in the Rustavi Metallurgical factory from 1971 to 1982. In 1982 he began working in the Georgian State Committee of Mining and Technical Supervision and conducted inspections of crane and rolling equipment and gas sector at the Rustavi Metallurgical Factory and Zestaponi Ferroalloy Factory. From 1987 to 1992 he worked as Chief Constructor of the Rustavi Crane Construction Factory. In 1992 Otari returned to the field of technical supervision (Technical Supervision Inspection). Between 2014 and 2017 was the Head of the Division of Crane, Transport and Pressure Vessel Supervision at the LEPL Technical and Construction Supervision Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
Otari holds a Master’s Degree from the Metallurgical Faculty of Georgian Politechnical University as a specialist in metal processing by pressure. While working in the technical field he attended training in 12 different areas related to European Union Law. He took an important part in the process of implementation of new technical legislation in Georgia and developed technical regulations harmonized with the EU legislation.

Alexander Tarielashvili
Chief Advisor
Aleksandre Tarielashvili joined CA International as Deputy Technical Director in November, 2016. He has 12 years of experience in a variety of technical areas, including 2 years of technical supervision and inspection.
Aleksandre started his career as elevator electrician in LLC Computer Land in 2005. Between 2006 and 2014 he was an electrician and later, Team Leader in LLC Tbillift. From 2014 to 2016 he has been working as a specialist in Crane, Transport and Pressure Vessel Supervision at the LEPL Technical and Construction Supervision Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

George Ananiashvili
Deputy Technical Director
George Ananiashvili joined CAI team as an inspector in March, 2018 and now holds the position of Deputy Technical Director. He has over a decade of experience in technical fields and between 2011 and 2017 worked with natural gas pumping stations in a variety of capacities.
A multitude of scientific papers and works have been published in local and international scientific journals that were authored or co-authored by George. Many of these publications were presented at various scientific conferences. He is a co-author of the textbook titled “Natural Gas – Cheap and Safe Auto Fuel”. His publications in magazines include:

George has completed multiple training programs and professional courses, among those was a professional training course “Safe Operation of Natural Gas Repositories and Fuel Stations” at Kiev Professional Technical University in Ukraine. He has also completed training on “ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Requirements for Inspection Bodies”.
Mr. Ananiashvili is a qualified part-time technical expert for the Georgian Accreditation Center. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Tbilisi State University and is currently enrolled in a Master’s Program at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering of the Georgian Technical University.

Senior Technical Expert
Nugzar Kirtadze has been a full-tile inspector of CA International since 2016.
His three decades’ worth of experience in technical and safety fields span many companies and institutions. Positions that he has held include:
- Georgian Railway Electric Supply Plant: Review and supply department, electrical technician, 1991-2994;
- Communications and Alarm Service of the Tbilisi Metro, electrical technician, 2000-2007;
- Computer Land, LLC: company elevators, engineer and inspector, 2002-2020;
- New Line LLC: elevators in the company portfolio, engineer and inspector, 2010-2014;
- Icarus College: courses for elevator electrical technicians, lecturer, 2012-2013;

Nata Kvernadze
Senior Conformity Assessment Specialist
Nata is a member of CAI staff since 2016. She started as office manager and worked in sales from 2017 until 2018, when she was promoted to Senior Conformity Assessment Specialist.
Nata holds Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Georgia.

Irakli Kenchoshvili
Technical Expert
Irakli Kenchoshvili has been a member of CAI staff since March 2018 when he first started as Assistant Deputy Technical Director. In 2019 he was promoted to Technical Expert.
Irakli holds Bachelor's Degree from the Business Administration Department of Ilia State University and holds a Master's Degree from the University of Georgia. He holds a certificate of completion of an accredited course for Labor Safety Specialists.
Irakli Kenchoshvili has been a member of CAI staff since March 2018 when he first started as Assistant Deputy Technical Director. In 2019 he was promoted to Technical Expert.

Tamar Kutaladze
Office Manager
Tamar Kutaladze joined the CAI team as an administrator in April, 2017. In 2019 she was promoted to company office manager.
Between 2014-2016 Tamar worked for the Republic Bank as sales manager and in 2016 was hired as Assistant to the General Director of Georgia’s Accreditation Center, a legal entity of public law.
Tamar holds Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the Humanitarian Sciences and Economics Department of Kolkheti University.
Tamar Kutaladze joined the CAI team as an administrator in April, 2017. In 2019 she was promoted to company office manager.
